Had a very dangerous looking, but minor in results bike crash. Some moron decided it's a good idea to have his trees dangle down onto the road, I thought it's just leaves, and got a branch in my face, slid under it, off my bike and facepavewalked.
I'm fine now, my brain is just as twisted as it ever was, I just have a lot of bruising on my face (might have a really cool scar! *here's hoping*) my bicycle is in perfect shape, just the right rear-view mirror broke, but that's fine, we have right-side traffic here so I only ever use the left anyway.
The deal is... when I was in the hospital, it was the usual stuff around the ER, cus that's the only place they could put me. I mean, I wasn't an emergency, there was just no room for me to sit while I was waiting for examination. So I saw some pretty horrid stuff, though I'm kinda used to hospitals and what you can sea there. I think the most gruesome thing was the lady that lost the lower half of her leg, but it was all dressed and though there was some blood, it wasn't that bad anymore. I just hope she lived, it looked like a very bad car crash. Then there were some blokes with broken noses, people with abdominal pains, bleeding, and one dude from a nearby prison with a police escort.
What I'm getting to is, there were a few people who should not have been there. They were not picked up by the ambulance, some of them admitted they had an ambulance at their house, and that the doctors and paramedics decided they were fine and did not need medical attention. So what do they do? Go to the hospital on their fucking own and complain, disrupting the work of the already short staff.
Seriously. There was a lady complaining that she spent 8 hours there, because no one would check on her chest pains. The lady was morbidly obese and was upset the doctor said her weight was what caused the pains and short breath and that she should go to an obesity clinic. Another lady kept intercepting doctors going to people in pain and dying (I think one person might have died while I was there, but I'm not sure, I just heard a life support alert and then after about half an hour the hustle that went around there vanished), and trying to get them to check up on her. She was thrown out of the emergency operating room four times!
And all that time those people were what made our waiting time so long! Not the "evil socialistic public healt care plan", the fucking morons who couldn't get that they were NOT ILL and that they should go and shove their Munchausen syndrome up their asses.
